Entertainment assistant/Technical support

Scope of job

The main purpose of this role is to manage and to provide support to assigned area, ensuring

that all company standards and budgetary requirements are achieved. The individual will be

commercially astute, optimizing profitability without compromising standards.

Reports to:

 Entertainment Manager

Main responsibilities

• Be passionate about customer service with the capability of delivering amazing hospitality to

our guests. Be polite, friendly and always with a positive attitude.

• Provide a distinguished musical background to the venue to create a good entertainment

experience all day.

• Ensure that the entertainment programs/music are age appropriate for individual guests and

for groups.

• Take care of technical and hospitality riders of guest DJs.
• Ensure efficient and safe maintenance, installation and storage of instruments, technical

aspects and the DJ performance area of the venue.

• Assist in planning the music related layout, system and requirements.
• Supervise the entertainers and ensure that their behavior and performances are up to the

desired standard. Provide them feedback and suggestions on the above. If they do not perform

or comply, seek the assistance of the General Manager.

• Assist the setup of instruments and equipment.
• Assist performers prior, during and post performances.
• Keep a high level of communication with the rest of the team.
