In-store Communications Officer

We are looking for an experienced candidate with excellent communication skills to join the Marketing team. Responsible for implementing and promoting in-store marketing activities and related media exposure, the chosen candidate must be capable of bringing forth ideas to increase awareness of specific events and/or products and have the knowledge to create such activities through relevant marketing strategies and campaigns. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the relevant communication content within the organisation's restaurants.

The ideal candidate will have an abundance of ideas for enforcing efficient tactics within our restaurants, in line with the brand values and keeping in mind the need to enhance customer experience. Communication skills will be at the forefront, responsible for ensuring implementation of agreed upon activities from start to finish. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a number of different brands.

Daily Tasks

  • Develop efficient and intuitive communication strategies together with the marketing manager
  • Creating relevant promotions to help increase sales of particular products
  • Planning and coordinating communication for in store promotions and/or events
  • Managing content of in store advertising and ensuring it is up to date (screen advertising, menu boards, other)
  • Creation of new content for in-store placements (videos, graphics)
  • Liaising with the entertainment team regarding events and arranging relevant communication of these events
  • Co-ordinating menu launches – design, menu creation, concept, ensuring implementation of new menu content on various platforms (including digital) and in store menu boards
  • In store decoration where applicable
  • Sourcing of in-store merchandise where applicable
  • Ensuring implementation of sponsorship requirements for events
  • Suggesting ideas to enhance in-store customer experience
  • Design and printing arrangements for posters/banners/window displays where applicable

 

Key skills

Communication skills: You will need to be able to communicate with external partners and restaurant teams on a daily basis to ensure completion of in-store marketing activities. Maintaining good relationships with these partners is crucial.

Writing skills: Proofreading and editing menu copy to ensure published material is correct. Excellent language skills and attention to detail are a must.

Organisational Skills: You will be implementing a number of promotions and in-store activities simultaneously for different brands, scheduling and planning will be a key part of your daily work.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, PR or related field

Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant field

Fluent in written and spoken English and Greek

Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
